Wikidip

Wikipedia lucky dip

A simple tool for pulling quality, longer reads, from Wikipedia on topics you may have never thought to seek out.

Topics

  • 15 minutes or longer
  • Featured or Good article
  • Recent edit when the topic has one, otherwise a settled text

The desk is clear.

Pick a topic, then draw. Wikidip skips lists, disambiguation pages, and articles still under an editorial dispute.

Text from English Wikipedia, available under CC BY-SA. Reading time is estimated at 200 words a minute from the article’s indexed length. A draw is either recently edited or a settled Featured or Good article — preferably both.
