I built this website to solve a small problem in my life. Every night I read to my wife to help her sleep, but just constantly clicking the random button on Wikipedia often yields a large number of short, unfinished, or poor quality articles.

Wikidip pulls in quality articles in a category of your choice, or can pick from any at random. Its logic selects articles that meet certain criteria on length, quality and editorial standard.

While I built this tool as a simple sleep aid, I’m also a big trivia nerd and could see an application for those attempting to broaden their knowledge in a way that feels less self guided.
